I’ve practiced yoga for many years and took my first steps into teaching in Nursery Schools across the Manchester area. Seeing first hand the impact I was able to have through guiding my pupils into a space of self regulation, awareness and autonomy was a joy! Inspired, I completed my teacher training with the Himalayan Yoga Association (300 hr) and moved to the stunning South West, where endless skies meet staggering tors, it’s hard not to feel connected down here.
I’m entirely grateful to be able to be apart of people’s journey into mindful living and it’s such a privilege to meet individuals from all walks of life and find a centred connection with them on our mats. I passionately advocate for wellness spaces being an accessible safe environment that contributes to improving communal support for mental wellbeing.

What we’re listening to to help us ease into practice…

“The success of Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships”

Absolutely not. Asanas (poses) can be modified for every students unique abilities and needs. Although flexibility is a happy biproduct of a regular practice, it is never an expectation. Physical achievement is secondary to a mindful attitude towards our mind and body.

It’s best to allow food 1-2 hours to digest before we practice as the body needs energy for digestion and if we are expending our energy on our muscle movement in practice, we cannot digest our food properly.
